it's not hard to do it manually, just choose the appropriate improvement for the different resources, then mostly farms, a few mines on hills, maybe some generators here and there, and later when you can build biowells build a couple of them. I dont use auto-improve, so i dont really know how good it is. Should I have my workers auto-improve? And ya i rarely build military unit, I'm always tempted to just keep making buildings. Originally posted by BOT Harvey:IIIScipioIII thanks for the info. I would turn off contact victory, it can be accessed far earlier than other victory and is available to everyone, so its not really interesting. Similarly you don't have to reasearch everything, especially the leaf tech.

Most wonder are worthless or close too, the only early one that's great is the one that make your unit fight like they were at full health, you can grab rather early but you need firaxite. Oh and water city are great BTW, they produce less negative health so making your third city one is a good diea, I'd just buy the tile expansion rather than use move city, far simpler.Īffinity doesn't really matter, as you explore the tech tree and as your explorer unearth ruins you'll pick up all kind of affinity, so just pick one but don't focus too much on it. So you can get by with minimal army, but do keep one around especially for water city which have very low defense. I find that the other civ AI is also extremly non agressive, just played two game at second hardest setting and the first one I never got attacked and the second one two civ constantly declared war on me but rarely actually attacked (hillariously one time a basic kraken wiped out his army and left mine alone). This is great because it mean you can send explorer all over the place, without back up, to dig the ruin and possibly get artifact which can give you OP bonus. I'd say ignore the alien all together, if you leave them alone they'll leave you alone.
